Welcome to my comfort zone! I've been a food writer, cookbook author, nutritionist, and TV host for over 20 years. Oh, and I've written ten cookbooks in my spare time! I continue to explore everything "food", every day; that means with every dish I make - from my boys' breakfast before school, to bagged lunches and prepped dinners, to fun desserts. And I make sure to include plenty of recipe testing in between (for my blogs, shows, restaurants, and magazine/newspaper columns).
Two of my cookbooks seemed to really reach people. One is the New York Times bestseller, Quick Fix Meals. The book evolved from my TV show, Quick Fix Meals with Robin Miller, which aired on Food Network for 5 years. The other is The Newlywed Cookbook, which is in its 4th printing! I love interacting with people and this blog serves that purpose. I adore sharing recipes, getting feedback, and answering questions.
Although still in its infancy, I have a LOT of fun on my YouTube channel, sharing recipes, revamping favorite dishes, and highlighting kitchen “hacks” that make mealtime a breeze.
My weekly food cover stories appear in the Arizona Republic and my recipes and nutrition articles are featured regularly in many newspapers and magazines, including Health, Cooking Light, Parade, Spry Living, American Profile, Shape, Woman’s Day, Woman’s World, and Clean Eating.
Last year, I opened the Smart Carb Café, a gluten-free, smart-carb, fast casual restaurant located in the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, IL. This year, I'll be opening a unique, “fine-casual” restaurant in Arizona. So excited to interact with you all!!
Television and Media
I have been a guest on hundreds of local and national television and radio programs. I have hosted home videos (for Jane Fonda), cable television vignettes (for Food Network and a variety of international food companies), satellite media tours (a few each year), and I've spoken at media events in various markets nationwide. Currently, I appear on local, network and cable television. Programs and networks of particular interest include: CBS This Morning, The Today Show, Good Morning America, CNN, Fox News Channel, Food Network, Discovery Channel, Better TV, Hallmark’s Home & Family, and HGTV.
